Policy Overview

Canadianiptv.ca respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that are properly submitted to our designated agent.

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible through our service, please notify our DMCA agent as described below.

Filing a DMCA Notice

To file a valid DMCA takedown notice, your written notification must include the following:

A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.

Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate the material on our service (e.g., URLs).

Your contact information, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Counter-Notice

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before it was removed.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the original complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the removed content.

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA, Canadianiptv.ca has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to our service or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe the intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
